eturning from a brief creative hiatus, French producer Kidswaste is back with a fresh, innovative new single that showcases his full artistic skill set. Written, produced, and sung by Kidswaste himself, “Need You” is out now via Counter Records.

For “Need You,” Kidswaste is back with a style and substance that signifies an artist completely aware and accepting of who and where he is at this stage of his career. With a slew of successful releases under his belt to date, the evolving artist digs deep and reveals that he "was dealing with a lot of internal struggle about things that were pretty far out of my control." He goes on to express that the hopelessness he felt, followed by disappointment, helped him to pinpoint his mental state at the time. Via the emotive elements and heartfelt lyrics, Kidwaste explains that “sometimes you need to take a step back and give someone else space to make their own choices, and you can’t control the outcome at that point.” And at times, letting the reigns go can be the best thing you can do to find a solution. “Need You” is a story that unfolds from start to finish, the newest chapter in Kidswaste’s growing legacy.

Since Kidswaste first started writing songs in his bedroom studio in the north of France, much has changed for Quentin Beauvois. He's collaborated with high-caliber artists like Chelsea Cutler and gnash, his releases have amassed more than than 75 million streams across various platforms, and he’s established himself as a frequent flyer across the flagship editorial playlist programs at Spotify and Apple.
