Giraffage explains, “Exercise has been such an essential part of my physical and mental routine in the past few years that I had to make an ode to it via song. I hope this song will push the listener to do that one extra rep or go the extra mile.”
“Workout” is Giraffage’s long-awaited follow up to the success of his 2017 full-length, Too Real. Touring with the likes of Phantogram and Porter Robinson over the years while notching support from essential tastemakers such as Pitchfork And Billboard, Giraffage has made inroads live and in the studio alike. His outstanding career marks a lifelong evolution, from the “music nerd” child of two Taiwanese immigrants to a world-touring producer whose innovative synth-pop sound has continued to branch out into exciting new territory, a notion that’s slated to continue throughout 2020.
