Big Gigantic established itself as a pioneer of live electronic music with the band's inception in 2008. The Colorado-based saxophonist/producer, Dominic Lalli and drummer, Jeremy Salken, are veterans of blending electronic dance music with their live instruments to create Big G's truly unique sound; a sound that is as thoughtful as it is danceable. Big Gigantic mixes musically mature melodies with addictive beats and samples, that are familiar to a Kanye West or LCD Soundsystem single, and crosses all styles of music from jazz to hip hop, funk to dubstep.

Their fifth most recent studio album, Brighter Future, reflects Lalli and Salken’s vision for uniting the world through music and community. Lalli wrote, “Now more than ever, we need to come together and work towards a brighter future for us, our children and for the human race as a whole.” The album was released on August 26, 2016 and features special guests Waka Flocka Flame, Logic, Cherub, Griz, Pell, and many more. The singles “The Little Things" feat. Angela McCluskey and “All Of Me” feat. renowned rapper Logic have received national acclaim, with over 3 million downloads and 75+ million streams. In 2017 Brighter Future was re-released as a deluxe double album with remixes of all original Brighter Future songs by artists from Kill The Noise and Mat Zo, to Kasbo and The Funk Hunters. Big Gigantic tracks have landed sync placements across the advertising spectrum from the 2017 Apple MacBook Pro reveal, to HBO season teasers, to Cinnamon Toast Crunch and McDonalds Commercials, film trailers, and sports coverage including Wimbledon, the Indy 500, NBA, NHL, and MLB.

2018 saw the release of numerous collaborations with renowned and respected artists across genres including Snails, Party Pupils, Louis The Child, a remix of Foster The People, and the most recent track “Like That” with NGHTMRE out on Mad Decent. Looking toward 2019 Big Gigantic is back in the studio with plans to release more of their genre blending collaborative music.

Big Gigantic’s impact stretches much farther than their music. After donating tens of thousands of dollars, school supplies, food and other items to those in need through their #ABigGiganticDifference initiative, Lalli and Salken have taken their give-back mission to the next level. In Fall of 2016, the duo founded the nonprofit A Big Gigantic Difference Foundation with the mission to spread positivity and enact change alongside their fans and community through #ABDG events, fundraising initiatives, and donations from ticket sales.

In 2017, they switched their model of giving many small gifts for a greater impact large donation. The first ABGDFoundation partnership was announced in the summer of 2017 with the Denver, CO nonprofit, Youth On Record who received the majority of the funds raised in the year. The gift of over $50,000 built out and supported instruction for a stationary computer lab at Youth on Record’s headquarters. In 2018 Big Gigantic and their Foundation partnered with veteran non- profit Conscious Alliance to donate a total of $70,000 a new facility fund to promote greater reach of the organization’s mission to stop hunger and support youth in need.

2018 also marked the seventh year of Big Gignatic’s own headlining, two-night festival, Rowdytown, at Colorado's famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Over the years, the band has cemented itself as a must-see act on the US festival circuit, having performed at every major festival including: Coachella, Lollapalooza, Ultra Music Festival, Hangout, Austin City Limits, Governors Ball, Electric Forest, Outside Lands, and Bonnaroo.
